Frequently Asked Questions
Should I wear asian clothes?
We welcome you to wear whatever you’re most comfortable in, and expect some guests will choose asian clothing and others will choose western.
Dress codes for each part of the weekend are set out in the relevant event pages. For the ceremony itself, we suggest you wear something smart but comfortable- Suits are great (with or without a tie), and trousers, dresses, and skirts are all equally welcome- whatever makes you feel your best. The groom will be in a two-piece suit, so think smart without the fuss. We’d just ask that guests skip the hats so everyone has a clear view. Please feel free to wear white if desired as the bride won’t be!
When should I arrive for dinner on Saturday?
The welcome dinner will be casual and served family style at around 18:00 on Saturday 12 April.
I’m staying at the venue- when can I check in?
For those staying at the venue, your rooms will be available from 18:00 on Friday 11 April, however please be warned that anyone arriving on Friday will be put to work to help with setup!
If you’re looking for a more relaxed start to the weekend, please feel free to arrive any time after 13:00 on Saturday 12 April.
Is there a gift registry?
Your presence is present enough, so please do not feel obligated to give anything else. For those who would like to buy us a gift, you can find our gift registry with John Lewis linked below
